Welcome to my wildlife art page. This site features many of the paintings and drawings I have done over the past few years and includes recent original oil paintings of animals from around the world. All the paintings on this site are original oil on canvas and the drawings are original pencil drawings, produced on 300gsm Bockingford watercolour paper. Wildlife is my main subject but I also draw people and regularly paint and draw pet portraits. Most of the wildlife art on this site has already been sold but you can view my current artwork on my eBay page or you can e-mail me for any information on commissions. Commissions If you would like to commission an oil painting or a pencil drawing of an animal or a pet, all you need to do is send me some clear photographs either via email or post. It is important to have a good quality photograph so that I am able to see the detail in the animal's features but I am also able to work from old photographs of low quality if that is all you have.
If there is a particular animal that you would like me to paint, but you don't have a photograph, then I can provide the reference material free of charge as I have access to an extensive image reference library. Once the painting or drawing is completed I will email you a photo and you can let me know if you are happy with the final piece and I will make any changes if needed. I will then varnish the painting and send it to you rolled in a tube once the payment has cleared. I usually ask for payment once the painting is completed but I also accept payment up front if that is what you prefer. To view examples, please visit the commissions section in the gallery.

New Oil Paintings and drawings on ebay. Last updated: Jan 2012 I have been trying some new styles of oil paintings called "Ala Prima" which basically means a painting done in one session rather the two sessions I usually do. Latest News: The Stribbling wildlife artists (David, Sarah and Rachel) have recently been on a tour of UK wildlife parks to gather reference material for our paintings. We managed to get some amazing close-up photos (in particular Amur/Siberian Tigers, Leopards and Snow Leopards as well as the Jaguar and Lemur.
